focus on PRIMARY CARE

Our curriculum has been designed to provide dedicated opportunities for residents to learn and grow in primary and ambulatory care settings. Almost half of the clinical time will be spent in Primary Care rotations. These will be organized in a series of 3 progressing rotations spread out over the residency year, providing ample time for residents to practice in primary care settings and take on increasing responsibilities. The Primary Care rotations will be structured as follows:

  • Facilitated Practice (6 weeks)

  • Transition to Independent Practice (4 weeks)

  • Independent Practice (6 weeks)
